This year marks our 45th year of service to Smith Mountain Lake. Our goal this year is to be more visble on the water, to begin the proces of building our building on land donatd to us by AEP and to replace our aging fleet of fireboats.
One simple way to donate is through the Kroger Community Rewards program. Simply enroll your Kroger Plus card into the Community Rewards program and select organization number BS428. When you use your Kroger Plus card at the store, Kroger will make a donation to Smith Mountain Lake Marine Volunteer Fire Rescue. It’s that simple. The Smith Mountain Lake Marine Fire/Rescue is actively seeking new members. Members can be firefighters, EMT's or simply someone that wants to help the community. If you feel that you have that calling to help others, that is the person we would like to speak with.
